Introducing the latest edition in the Demande Spéciale series, where customer input and our in-house design excellence come together to create a truly elegant and vibrant timepiece. This limited edition watch is limited to only 300 individually numbered pieces, featuring a striking green dial, elegant Breguet numerals, and a gloss black leather strap, making it the perfect complement to the two previous watches in the series that featured Salmon and Ice Blue dials.
HYBRID CALIBER
Inspired by the early days of racing, the new Demande Spéciale Chronograph is powered by an impressive engine of its own. In fact, the renowned VK64 Meca Quartz from Seiko is a so-called “hybrid movement” combining quartz technology with mechanical movements to form an engine that balances the advantages and disadvantages of each. We’d have it no other way.

Whilst the timekeeping mechanism is essentially quartz, you’ll notice the “meca” part of the equation come into play every time you reset the chronograph. With components taken directly from Seiko's own in-house mechanical chronographs, the chronograph hands are disengaged from the quartz motor and are snapped back to zero, meaning you don't get that sweep back to zero that is representative for standard quartz chronos. Rather, you get a timepiece that combines the accuracy of quartz with the distinct look and feel of a mechanical chronograph. The Demande Spéciale watch boasts a captivating dial with hand-applied steel Breguet numerals, blending traditional design elements with a contemporary twist on dial color.
THE CASE
Like every Heritage Chronograph, the Demande Spéciale III also comes in a 316L stainless steel case in 39mm with a perfect balance of brushed and polished finishes.

The Mediterranean pine tree is a native to our region and one of our absolute favourites. Much like the Eiffel Tower epitomizes Paris, its iconic silhouette is unmistakeable along the rocky coasts of Cote d’Azur.
