Inspired by the evolution of iconic denim apparels during the 1990’s, this serendipitous and sophisticated collection is a contemporary revival of this timeless trend. During that era, denim symbolised an entire generation of young individuals who utilised it as a medium of self-expression for styles that were free from prejudices. By rewinding the clock back to the mythical nineties, the mind also naturally ventures to the grunge trend and distinctive denim attires worn by celebrities such as Drew Barrymore and Kate Moss. With such a deep-rooted heritage of an era that still lives in our wardrobes today, the latest editions seek to reinterpret time passing but true blues never fade.
The new Double Denim edition was developed across an unprecedented encounter between premium watchmaking and lifestyle interests, giving each model a unique design story. The combination of denim straps available in different washes, along with contrasting metallic elements seen through the refined and traditional case and buckle, are all perfectly fused to create an array of elegant, witty and classic timepieces. Whilst diving into the past and jumping into the future, this line delivers an ideal balance for those who want to own a watch with a character and bold spirit, without sacrificing style.
Available in two versions featuring different detailing and designed to fit different wrist sizes, the 34mm diameter case is specially crafted for women, while the 40mm case is best suited for men. In order to stay true to the Ultra-Thin collection this new edition is under, the thickness of each timepiece will remain at 7mm, and keep a water resistance of 5 ATM.
The Double Denim 40mm line features twill-weave denim strap variants in indigo, gray, and black colour-ways, which are contrasted with bright orange stitchings, and lined with natural Italian calf leather. The key attribute is evident on the dial, which is designed to recreate the texture of linen, and finished with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The Double Denim 34mm line on the other hand, offers twill-weave denim strap alternatives in light blue, indigo, and black colour-ways that are also lined with natural Italian calf leather, but feature matching stitchings instead. A white soleil finish is presented on the dial, and completed with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
